And I'll take care of sending a Saturday or Sunday. Because otherwise it would lack the two main attractions of the place: the sugar shack and Château Gohier, which are open only on weekends.
The park has eight miles of trails cross country skiing that can go around the park to stop at interesting places. We are not tired, because you can ski on flat terrain on trails very easy. But we still have the taste to stop because it's fun.
But back to skiing. As I already wrote, the most beautiful trails in the quality of parks is that they are leveled and they do very little snow to make them operational.
Maintenance is done with light equipment, but it is adequate. The park is very rugged, then climbs and descents are rare and very short. But as the tracks are wide and not too crooked, it can go fast and you never get bored too. Too bad they are - unnecessarily, in my opinion - one way because we have even more fun to walk in the park if it was not the case.
Of all nature parks, Cap St. Jacques is where we made the best skiing. Even if we can get there by bus, it feels very far from the city. The chalet park is large and contains a rental shop.
