Day 2: Cape Corse and hike to the tower of Santa Maria
In the morning we drive to Macinaggio. We ask the car park and go for our first hike. After an hour and a half walk under the sun and in the bush, we arrived at the tower of Santa Maria. We settle down on the deserted beach right next to our first swim in the sea Corsica, in a beautiful turquoise water! The back is a bit hard because it's really hot and ... there is no shade in the bush!
We take the road towards St Florent. The road is on a mountainside with sea-just down there. We discover wild landscapes, extraordinary. Cons by the road is really narrow and winding a lot (over 2 h to 70km). The passenger is under strain but it is really worth. We
come to St Florent and thereby find a lot of people ... too many people. The restaurants are crowded, menus Corsicans to the card but not so good as this. The town is cute with its small marina, but it's very touristy.
Camping Aqua Dolce " is quite correct, but there are plenty of others around St Florent.
